GCP will be hosting a workshop looking at “Phase 1 Strength” from our athletic development blueprint. The aim of the workshop is to provide practitioners such as sport coaches, PE teachers or even aspiring and or current S&C coaches, with content and coaching skills. The content for “Phase 1 Strength” will be focused on teaching FUNdamental movements of the lower body (squat, lunge, step, hinge), upper body (push, row) and core (brace, bridge) in a FUN and engaging way that could be delivered to the children you’re coaching. In addition, you will be provided with basic theoretical knoweldge, education on coaching skills to teach and correct movement, planning and delivering sessions and finally reviewing sessions.
